Personal Trainer

I provide fitness training both In-Gym and In-Home. One-on-one personal training is the most effective way to meet your fitness goals in the shortest amount of time possible. You’d be amazed at how much you can accomplish in just a few months with a trainer who practices scientifically sound principles.  I also offer doubles and small group training.

The In-Gym sessions take place at Fueled Sports Performance (see photo), a  well-equipped gym located at 530 State Street in Santa Barbara, California. Each one-on-one session lasts one hour and the fee is $85 per session.  I will also travel to your home if you are located in the greater Santa Barbara area for In-Home training. I charge $125 per session for this service.

In my sessions you will be introduced to a new and unique approach to fitness.  My method is based on what the human genome tells us about exercise and health.  Studies of early humans have shown that mimicking their movement patterns and nutritional habits gives us the best advantage in accomplishing fitness goals.  For example, I train you in functional full-body exercise to help you burn fat, build muscle and stay healthy. You can find more information about this approach in my blog and in my book, Your Primal Body: Lean, Fit and Pain-free at Any Age, out later this year, details available soon.

What Does A Personal Training Consultation Offer?
