Mikki, when I started working with you last year, I was overweight and absolutely stuck. I couldn’t get the scale to budge. I also had exacerbated muscle problems in my leg. I had seen three or four doctors about my knee over the past two years, and no one could help me. By the time I started working with you I could barely walk. “It took a while to get over the inertia of so many years of being sedentary and begin to move with regularity. For me to stop my work routine, get up, go out and take even a 20 minute jog around my neighborhood seemed like a big deal. But I do that every day now, and I work out 3-4 times a week, including going up and down stadium steps. My husband is inspired by my new found fitness and often accompanies me on my jaunts and gym trips. It’s easy and fun to do things that before were boring tasks—so boring I’d skip them!” To read more about my fitness transformation click here….

“You did indeed enable me to transform myself. You took me step by step, and guided me every step, flex and stair case of the way. Thank you……for that I am eternally grateful and as you know I sing your praises whenever anyone gives me a slight opening. One of my big motivations for getting fit was my arthritis and the pain in my feet and joints especially my knees. You gently pushed me to work a little harder and to find a rhythm and satisfaction in getting fit … To read more about my fitness transformation click here….

“Our lives are full of daily challenges: Our careers, our family, our friends, and our finances, to name a few. However, the realm of physical challenge occupies a unique space, and most of us do not give it the attention it deserves. When I was in high school, I spent three hours a day in exercise and was in the best shape of my life. As I went to college, fitness was no longer a priority, and I began to notice. I no longer looked or felt as good as I had in high school, which was not a pleasant realization… To read more about my fitness transformation click here….

One of the first things we tackled was my unhealthy eating. She told me one day I would no longer crave all of the sugar type foods that I love, which I replied “we will see.” To my disbelief, she was right! Although I was resistant at first, the increase in my energy was amazing. To read more about my transformation click here…

My Father left me some money when he died recently (enough for me to invest in my health and body fitness) so I could finally live my dream! But phew! What hard work it was in the beginning. Yes it hurt, and I very rarely looked forward to going to the gym. I could NEVER have put myself through that pain and discomfort two or three times a week, but because I know that Mikki is such a qualified Trainer I trusted that I would come to no harm…To read more about my transformation click here…

It was at thirty-eight that I decided to add something to my already hard workout routine, or so I thought. I made an appointment with Mikki and met with her at Starbucks on the Mesa. I looked at her and thought she looked like she was in great shape. But I was five foot eight inches, weighing in at 185-190 pounds. I thought I could bench press her and maybe teach her a thing or two about bulk and strength – To read more about my transformation click here…

After two years of working with Mikki I’ve exceeded my original goals. The improvements have been astounding: dead lifting 235 lbs; running 15 stadium intervals (84 stair steps up, taken two at a time) in 20 minutes; balancing on a Swiss ball while lifting weights; and much, much more. At the age of 51, my body fat percentage is 10.2 percent; I’m stronger than I’ve ever been in my life; my balance, coordination, and stamina are greater than ever; and the back pain that I used to have is gone… To read more about my transformation click here…

In the past, I felt I exhibited the physical skills necessary to accomplish any task as well as any firefighter. Now, I could see that my co-workers performed with greater agility, strength and endurance, and I was relegated to “keeping up” with them. This realization was very frustrating. Where had I lost it? Of course, I have learned important concepts, so much so that I’ve been able to apply them quite consciously to my physical activities outside of the gym. Now when I’m hiking with my dogs up a slope, for example, I surge up with heretofore unknown power because I’ve learned to drive myself up through my heels, a concept I extrapolated from Mikki’s words in teaching me how to do leg exercises. The condition from which I was suffering is called spondylolysthesis, where the ‘wings’ of one of the lumbar vertebrae separate from the core structure, resulting in forward slippage of the broken vertebra over the one below it. In my case, the original fracture (to the lowermost vertebra) occurred during a childhood ‘jumping incident’ but the condition didn’t become debilitating until my mid-thirties, by which time the slippage had progressed to the point of looking bizarre in x-rays…

Fitness Transform provides truly customized individual instruction and real personal support. I received ways to work my muscles and formulate my diet that produced results that I had never conceived of. Really, doing what Mikki Reilly says with your training equals results. Her consistently high standards, her caring attitude, and her indefatigable credibility lend to the online professional fitness industry what is often sorely lacking.

As a firefighter for over 20 years I have tried to maintain my fitness, yet after giving birth to my son four years ago at age 40 I was at a loss. My eating habits were horrible and I weighed a whopping 183lbs! I knew I needed help and fast to be able to return to work. Then I met Mikki and the odyssey that transformed my life and body began. Now at age 44 I am in much better shape than I was over ten years ago! How did I do it? … To read more about my fitness transformation click here….

I came to Fitness Transform, appropriately on my birthday, almost a year ago. Immediately I was introduced to the concepts of lean body mass versus fat, aerobic and anaerobic training, and I was presented with a body composition target. This approach was definitely something I could grasp, a measurable goal I could work toward with weight training and the right diet. After ten years of working out at the local high-end athletic club, I was finally getting the program I needed to transform physically toward the goal I had set for myself…
